The attached TOTAL EXPLORATION PRODUCTION (TEP) General Specification No. : SP-COR-181 Rev.15 is confirmed as the Project Specification, except as amended herein and renumbered/reissued as specification No. : RP-0013-999-6600-001 for SOUTH PARS GAS FIELD DEVELOPMENT, Phase 13 Project.

The following items refer to the attached TEP General Specification No. SP-COR-181 REV. 15.

The clauses set out below modify or replace the existing clauses in the original specification as noted.

GENERAL COMMENTS

The following items which are used in this general job specification are deleted or replaced by:

Engineering company by contractor: shall mean the party which has entered under a Contract Agreement with the CONTRACTOR for the design, engineering, procurement and construction of the Onshore Facilities regarding the South Pars Gas Field Development, Phase 13 Project.

TOTAL TEP: shall be read as COMPANY or his nominated representative.

Manufacturer: shall mean any person, firm or company which manufacture or supply equipment or services for the performance of any item of the work.

Work: shall mean works and/or services entrusted by CONTRACTOR under the contract with COMPANY.

INSPECTION AGENCY: This term designates the Inspection Bodies as a third party which will be nominated by CONTRACTOR and approved by COMPANY.

INSPECTOR: Shall be read as INSPECTION AGENCY.

PARTICULAR COMMENTS ON FOLLOWING PARAGRAPHS:

SPECIFICATION TITLE

Title shall be changed and corrected as follows:

“PAINTING OF ONSHORE STRUCTURES AND EQUIPMENT”

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Item no. 9 (containing 9.1, 9.2 and 9.3) shall be deleted.

5 SURFACE PREPARATION

5.1

PREPARATION BEFORE BLAST CLEANING

The following part shall be added as the Item No. “5.1.4” 5.1.4- Abrasive material for blasting:

1) The abrasive used in installations as wheel abrators or manual blast cubicles in which the abrasive is recovered and re-used shall be mixture of chilled iron or steel grit and steel shot able to produce the required surface profile.

The abrasive mixture shall be replenished using new and worn abrasive, so as to produce a consistent profile height and standard of surface cleanliness. The abrasive mixture shall be kept free of dust (including metallic particles) and debris. Abrasive cleaning employing sand shall not be permitted.

2) Abrasive material for blast cleaning, consisting solely of steel shot shall not be used. A mixture consisting of steel shot and at least 25% by weight steel grit is acceptable.

3) Expendable abrasive used for blast-cleaning shall be free of contaminants such as chlorides and other soluble salts and shall not contain metallic copper or more than 2% by weights of copper oxide. Expendable abrasives shall not be recycled. Sand shall not be used for blast-cleaning.

4) A non-metallic blast abrasive i.e. aluminum oxide, shall be used when abrading stainless steel surfaces. Sand shall not be used. Iron abrasive, iron oxide abrasive or non free chloride/chlorine/halide abrasive shall not be allowed for stainless steel blast cleaning.

5) Copper slag or coal slag shall not be used for preparation of surfaces located in submerged or splash zones, or for surface preparation of stainless steel and other noble materials or internal surfaces.

6) Sand or other non-metallic abrasives with free silica shall not be used.

7.1

APPLICATION OF PAINT

PAINT SYSTEMS

Item 7.1.2 should be changed as follows:

7.1.2 - The primer to finishing coat shall be selected in the applicable system. If paint from different approved Manufacturer are to be applied, the compatibility in between shall be proved with adhesion test according to ASTM D3359.

Following new paragraph shall be added:

7.1.4 - For all valves the zinc silicate primer shall not be applied however a layer zinc free primer for carbon steel surfaces and two layers of final coats for stainless and other alloy steels surfaces shall be applied.

REPAIR OF DAMAGED PAINT AREAS

The last sentence of first paragraph

“The primer and finishing coats shall be applied in accordance with paragraph 7”

Shall be replaced by:

“The whole painting system from primer to finishing coats shall be applied in accordance with paragraph 7”

7.4

8 INSPECTION

8.5 ROUGHNESS CHECK

Last sentence shall be replaced by:

“A minimum of one measurement or impression shall be made per 10 square meter of prepared surface.” The following paragraph should be added: “Profile checking shall be according to ISO 8503 or ASTM D 4417.”

8.6 THICKNESS CHECK

Inorganic Zinc Silicate:

In all cases that “Inorganic Zinc Silicate” applied as Primer, take into consideration that “Primer shall contain at least 85% of Zinc Metal”

10.2 TYPES OF COATINGS

10.2.3-Pre-painted structural members:

Replace French Norms NFA 35-511 and NFA 35-512 S by:

SSPC PS Guide 22.00 - Guide for selecting one-coat preconstruction or prefabrication painting systems.

10.3 PAINT SYSTEMS FOR ONSHORE FACILITIES

- All requirements for valves shall be deleted.

- Temperatures shall be changed to below:

Paint System N°3: T=<120°C

Paint System N°3a: 200Paint System N°5: between 120 and 200°C (insulated &uninsulated)

Paint System N°6: between 200 and 500°C

FREITAG : VIGOR ZN 304 shall be added as an alternative.

The following paragraph shall be added:

As primer of paint system 2 needs to moisture for completing curing, if this paint system will be applied at vendor shop with low relative humidity percentage, Zinc Rich Epoxy can be applied instead of Inorganic Zinc Silicate at 75µm for steel structure& shop primed equipments items only.

Paint System N°2, 3a and 5:

JOTUN : Prosil ZSP shall be replaced by Resist GTI.

Paint System N°6:

JOTUN : Prosil ZSP shall be replaced by Resist GTI.
