摘要：A system for configuring a user terminal (2) connected to an Internet Protocolnetwork (1), comprises: a configuration repository (ASN) in a service provider domain (4),wherein the configuration repository is loaded with configuration information intendedfor a user terminal, a front-end server (7) in the service provider domain (4), the front-endserver comprising: a communication port connected to the Internet Protocol network (1),and control means arranged for mapping a predefined device identifier to theconfiguration repository, and a redirection server, the redirection server comprising: acommunication port connected to the Internet Protocol network (1) and reachable by auser terminal to be configured, data storage means (9) loaded with a service providerrecord, wherein the service provider record comprises a fully qualified domain nameroutable to the front-end server communication port, and control means arranged formapping a predefined service provider identifier to the service provider record.
